On-site observation helps confirm that piles are drilled, or driven, to the correct depths, meet specified blow counts, or grout takes, and are installed according to project documents and geotechnical recommendations. Load testing, including static, lateral, dynamic (PDA), and re-strike testing, is coordinated and interpreted to confirm that pile capacities meet design requirements.
D.W. Kozera can perform instrumentation of piles with strain gauges and interpret the results to determine resistance distribution along the pile length. We also provide design support for load frame requirements and instrumentation design for the load test.
